Hi, I'm Tanmoy Karmakar

I build mobile apps for a living. I started in 2019 as a Flutter intern while studying computer science, and since then I have shipped apps for startups, built an open-source SDK, and today I work as a mobile engineer at a UK fintech, building features for customers who pay and get paid on their phones.
Along the way I kept noticing the same thing close to home. Good local businesses, the cafe with the kind owner or the clinic that takes time to listen, were hard to find on Google because they had only a handful of reviews. Their customers were happy. They just never got round to writing anything, and writing a review from a blank screen is harder than it sounds.
The tools that did exist were built for big brands, priced in dollars, or full of features a small shop never uses. So I built ReviewPro: scan a QR code, rate your visit, get a few draft sentences you can edit, and post on Google in seconds. Then I added what local owners kept asking for next: a simple website, a digital catalogue, online orders, appointment booking and social posts.
I still write code for ReviewPro myself, and I answer support messages myself too.
Skills I bring from building apps
My background is a B.Tech in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur. I work mainly with Flutter and Firebase, and I have written more than 30 articles about Flutter on Medium.
I enjoy teaching. I organise events for the Flutter Kolkata community, which has reached over 1,000 developers, and as an Appwrite Hero in India I have run workshops for more than 500 students. My Udemy course on Flutter and Appwrite has taught more than 500 people. That habit of explaining things simply is why ReviewPro avoids jargon.

What we stand for
Honest reviews only
We never write reviews for customers, sell reviews or offer rewards for them. Customers get AI-assisted draft wording, and they can edit it or write their own.
Nothing is hidden
If a customer picks 1–3 stars, they first see a private feedback form so the owner can fix the problem. A "Go to Google review anyway" link is always at the bottom, so every customer can still post publicly.
Built for Indian businesses
Prices are in rupees, support is in English, Hindi and Bengali, and the tools are made for shops, cafes, salons, clinics and service businesses that serve customers in person.
